Huawei's SmartAX EA5800 series includes products such as EA5800-X17/X15/X7/X2, providing users with ultra-broadband, green, and intelligent all-optical access networks.

The EA5800 is based on a distributed architecture, providing users with a unified platform for multiple services such as broadband, wireless, video, and surveillance. It offers GPON, XG(S)-PON, XGS-PON & GPON Combo, 50G-PON & XGS-GPON Combo, and 10GE/2.5GE/GE access, supporting 10GE, 25GE, 40GE, and 100GE uplinks. It supports various network deployment modes, including all-optical campus (FTTO), all-optical industrial network (FTTM), and all-optical home (FTTH/FTTR), enabling a single fiber optic network to cover all services, simplifying network architecture, and reducing OPEX. It supports large, medium, and small product specifications to meet the needs of different scenarios.

1. Distributed architecture

By distributing service processing from the main control board to each service board, the system's switching capacity and performance are improved, with a single slot throughput of up to 200 Gbit/s, ensuring smooth service operation.

2. High reliability

Dual-homing (Type B/Type C) enables off-site disaster recovery and backup protection, with redundant backup of dual main control boards and dual power supply boards, multiple uplink protections, and hot-swappable support for main control switching boards, service boards, power supplies, and fans, providing a safe and reliable operating environment.

3. Software upgrades continuously improve business operations.
