The OptiX PTN 7900 is a new generation of high-capacity, high-bandwidth, and service-intelligent packet transport core equipment. It is the industry's first SDN-based PTN product, supporting large ports of 40GE/50GE/100GE/400GE, with service intelligence, traffic visibility, quality assessment, and capacity prediction. It adopts a brand-new SDN architecture to effectively support the long-term evolution of enterprises and multi-service carrying.
Huawei has taken the lead in the industry by releasing the SPTN solution, launching a future-oriented packet transport network that supports multi-service convergence, high bandwidth, differentiated quality assurance, and can be applied to core transmission equipment in production networks of industries such as power, transportation, and mining.

Supports massive service forwarding to meet the capacity requirements of core nodes; 40GE/50GE/100GE/400GE ultra-large bandwidth ports provide unimpeded access for services; strong aggregation capabilities support massive base station capacity.

Powerful routing capabilities, supporting extremely large routing tables; robust VPN capabilities, multi-service support, meeting flexible scheduling needs of various interfaces.
3. High reliability, safeguarding the core network
The main control unit, cross-connect units, power supplies, and fans feature redundant design, providing device-level protection; it supports rich network-level protection such as ring network, dual-homing, VPN FRR, and LSP APS to ensure reliable service forwarding; and its leading Y.1731 and MPLS-TP OAM technologies enable refined end-to-end monitoring of services.
