The GYTY53 optical cable consists of 250µm optical fibers inserted into loose tubes made of high-modulus material, with the tubes filled with a waterproof compound. At the center of the cable core is a metal reinforcing core; for certain core counts, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the metal reinforcing core. The loose tubes (and filler ropes) are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and round cable core, with the gaps within the core filled with a water-blocking filler. A polyethylene inner sheath is extruded over the cable core, and then double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped before extruding the polyethylene sheath to form the cable.

1. Product Standards
• YOFC's GYTY53 optical cable conforms to YD/T 901 and IEC 60794-1 standards.
2. Product Features
- Single steel wire center reinforcing core
- The loose sleeve is filled with a special waterproof compound
- Fully filled cable core
- Double-sided plastic-coated steel tape (PSP) improves the optical cable's resistance to moisture penetration.
- Excellent water-blocking materials prevent longitudinal water seepage into the optical cable
It has excellent mechanical properties and temperature characteristics.
The loose sleeve material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength.
The tube was filled with a special grease, which provided crucial protection for the optical fiber.
Good compressive strength and flexibility
The following measures are taken to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable:
