5、
1. Industry-leading three-RF innovative design
Traditional wireless access points (APs) typically employ a dual-band solution, providing wireless signal access on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. The H3C WA5530-LI innovatively adopts a tri-band design, retaining the original dual-radio frequency while adding a dual-stream 802.11ac Wave2 radio. With continuous technological advancements, 5G 802.11ac Wave2 terminals are gradually becoming mainstream, and the 2.4GHz band of APs is increasingly relegated to compatibility with lower-end terminals. With the addition of a third radio module, the WA5530-LI achieves a maximum access speed of 1.9Gbps, making it ideal for high-density access scenarios such as e-textbook applications.
2. Enables simultaneous communication from multiple terminals, overcoming the shortcomings of traditional wireless technology.
The H3C WA5530-LI supports MU-MIMO technology, the most important feature of 802.11ac Wave 2. MU-MIMO technology enables the AP to send data to multiple terminals simultaneously. Specifically, the WA5530-LI can send data to multiple terminals at the same time. Depending on the number of terminal streams, the tri-band design and perfect combination of MU-MIMO allow the WA5530-LI to send wireless messages to up to four terminals simultaneously. This breaks through the traditional serial communication mechanism of wireless networks, significantly improving the utilization rate of wireless spectrum resources, greatly increasing the number of effective access users, effectively reducing the deployment cost of wireless networks, and enhancing the user experience in high-density user scenarios.
3. Achieve intelligent dual-gigabit cloud access and high-quality wireless network TCO
The WA5530-LI complies with the 802.11ac protocol standard, providing access on three different frequency bands to achieve wireless transmission rates of 867Mbps + 867Mbps + 200Mbps, as well as wired access capabilities up to two gigabit speeds. Through built-in antenna coverage technology, it effectively delivers higher-performance mobile cloud access services in terms of coverage, access density, and operational stability, helping users achieve a superior wireless network TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
4. Green and low-carbon design
The WA5530-LI adopts a professional green and low-carbon design, supports Dynamic MIMO Power Saving Mode (DMPS) and Enhanced Automatic Power Saving Transmission (E-APSD), intelligently identifies the actual performance requirements of the terminal, rationally allocates the terminal sleep queue, and dynamically adjusts the MIMO working mode.
The WA5530-LI supports Green AP mode, enabling single-antenna standby for more precise energy saving.
The WA5530-LI utilizes innovative packet-by-packet power control (PPC) technology to dynamically adjust the bidirectional power between the AP device and the client while ensuring successful message transmission, thereby reducing device power consumption and extending mobile terminal standby time.
5. Supports both Fat and Fit modes
The WA5530-LI supports both Fat and Fit operating modes. Users can flexibly switch between Fat and Fit modes according to network planning needs. At the same time, users can flexibly select the required factory version of the device (Fat mode version or Fit mode version) according to application requirements.
When a customer's wireless network is initially small, they only need to purchase the corresponding wireless equipment and set its operating mode to Fit mode. As the customer's network expands, and the number of wireless devices in the network reaches dozens or even hundreds, to reduce the complexity of network management, it is recommended that the customer purchase H3C's self-developed WX series wireless controller equipment for centralized management of all WA5530-LI devices in the network. At this time, they only need to switch its operating mode to Fit mode.
The working mode switching process only requires a simple command line and can be executed in batches through the device network management system. This facilitates the smooth upgrade of customers' wireless networks from small networks to large networks, thereby better protecting users' investments. It is very suitable for the smooth expansion and upgrade of carrier-grade large-scale wireless networks.
6. Provide local forwarding function
When the WA5530-LI (Fit mode) forwards data over a wide area network, the wireless access devices are deployed in branch offices, while the wireless controller is deployed at headquarters. All user data is sent from the wireless access devices to the wireless controller, which then centrally forwards it. The WA5530-LI can directly convert data packets into wired format packets on the wireless access devices, allowing data packets to be forwarded locally without passing through the wireless controller, thus significantly saving wired bandwidth.
7. Supports IPv4/IPv6 dual protocol stack (Native IPv6)
The WA5530-LI fully supports IPv6 features, and the device implements a dual IPv4/IPv6 protocol stack. Regardless of whether the existing wired network is IPv4 or IPv6, it can automatically register with the WX series controller to provide WLAN services, and will not become an information island in the network.
8. Supports RealTime Spectrum Guard mode
RealTime Spectrum Guard (RTSG) is a professional monitoring solution for the spectrum status of wireless environments, innovatively proposed by H3C. The WA5530-LI supports a built-in RF acquisition module, enabling deeply integrated RF monitoring and real-time spectrum protection.
The RTSG console is integrated into the H3C iMC Intelligent Management Center. Through the CAPWAP management tunnel, it communicates with Sensor APs and collects data, enabling 24/7 wireless environment quality monitoring, wireless network capability trend assessment, and unlicensed interference alarms. Using a graphical interface, it proactively detects and identifies all RF interference sources (Wi-Fi or non-Wi-Fi) in the 2.4GHz/5GHz bands, providing real-time FFT plots, spectrum density plots, spectrum plots, duty cycle plots, event spectrum plots, channel power, interference power, etc. It can automatically identify interference sources, pinpoint the location of problematic wireless devices, and ensure better wireless network performance. Combined with the H3C iAR intelligent reporting component, it enables the storage, tracing, and playback of historical RF quality data across the entire coverage area, automatically generating customized trend, compliance, and audit reports.
To meet the different levels of user wireless environment monitoring needs, the RTSG solution can be flexibly deployed in either Local mode or Monitor mode. When operating in Local mode, it can maintain normal user access and packet forwarding while achieving effective spectrum protection.
9. Provide EAD wireless access
End User Admission Domination (EAD) solutions address the issue of secure network access for user terminals by integrating network access control and endpoint security products. They enforce enterprise security policies on user terminals accessing the network and, through collaboration with a security policy server, can handle unqualified wireless clients such as those infected with viruses or possessing system vulnerabilities through various methods, including disconnection, isolation, alerts, or monitoring. Only wireless clients that comply with the corresponding security policies are allowed to access the network, thereby improving the overall security of the wireless network.
10. Supports remote probe analysis
The WA5530-LI supports functioning as a remote probe analysis sensor, capable of listening to and capturing Wi-Fi packets within the coverage area and mirroring them in real time to a local analysis device for network administrators to troubleshoot and optimize. The remote probe analysis function can perform non-convergent mirroring of the working channel or poll and sample all channels, flexibly meeting the requirements of wireless network monitoring and maintenance.
11. Built-in RF Optimization Engine (ROE)
The WA5530-LI features a built-in RF Optimizing Engine, which effectively enhances application acceleration and quality assurance in high-density access and streaming media transmission scenarios in wireless deployments through feature- and protocol-based RF optimization. This includes features such as multi-user fair scheduling, fair hybrid access, interference filtering, rate optimization, spectrum navigation, multicast enhancement (IPv4/IPv6), per-packet power control, and intelligent bandwidth assurance.
12. Supports intelligent load balancing
The WA5530-LI supports complex load balancing based on the number of connected users and network traffic. When the wireless controller detects that the load of a wireless access device exceeds a set threshold, it automatically calculates whether there are any lightly loaded wireless access devices available for the user to connect to. If so, the controller will reject the user's connection request, and the user will connect to another lightly loaded wireless access device. However, if the wireless user is not in an overlapping coverage area, traditional load balancing methods often result in network connectivity failures, causing mis-balancing. H3C innovatively supports intelligent load balancing technology, ensuring that load balancing is only activated for wireless users in overlapping coverage areas, effectively avoiding mis-balancing and thus maximizing wireless network capacity.
13. Supports Chinese SSIDs
The WA5530-LI supports the use of Chinese SSIDs, which can specify an SSID containing up to 16 Chinese characters, or a mixed Chinese and English SSID, providing greater convenience for domestic users.
14. Fully supports intelligent wired and wireless integrated management
All H3C wireless products can achieve integrated wired and wireless management based on WSM through an open network management protocol.
WSM is a wireless operations management component developed by H3C based on its next-generation business software platform, iMC (Intelligence Management Center). It not only provides administrators with flexible component selection but also conforms to the industry's mainstream SOA architecture, possessing excellent scalability to meet the evolving needs of customer network management. The web-based management system provides wireless service managers with a simple and user-friendly management platform. In conjunction with the iMC intelligent management platform and other components, it can also realize functions such as panel management, fault management, performance monitoring, software version management, configuration file management, and access user management for wireless devices. Furthermore, it can provide unified management of other devices in the network, truly achieving intelligent integrated wired and wireless management.
